Awhile back, someone commented on a picture I took and posted on Instagram. She thought the picture was cute, but also commented on how clean my counters were, which she noticed in the background. "How on earth do you keep things so clean & tidy, especially with 5?!", she asked. Her question was legitimate and I was glad she asked. The answer, however, was probably not what she expected. But I appreciated that she asked. I appreciated her allowing me to answer her question. 

Ah, car loop. If you have kids, you know ALL about it. It tests your patience daily, approximately 10 months out of the year. It's highly likely you get to experience it not just once, but two times daily...when you drop-off your child for school and when you pick them up. Some of us even have the privilege of navigating multiple car loops at multiple schools sites - DAILY!

Inclusion. Special Day Class. Mainstreaming. Day Program. Group Home. The list could go on and on and on. They're all different, yet they have a common ground - Special Needs.

16 years of marriage. Honestly, it's hard to believe it's been that long. Some things feel as though they happened decades ago while other things feel as they just took place yesterday. Amazing how life does that when you're married to your very best friend.

It was approximately 8:30 AM. I was supposed to be across the street at our church helping with last minute items for the MOPS Open House, which would start at 9 AM . Instead, I was in the accessible restroom stall at Target, along with the great big red shopping cart, which held Greg (age 3) and Savannah (not quite 2). 

1,620 miles is the round trip distance from our home to CenturyLink Field in Seattle, Washington, also known as home field of the Seattle Seahawks. Yes, 1,620 miles is a long way and I should know - I just drove it in August with my oldest son.
